NB: This post gives a quick explanation of the golden buzzer. Remember too that this is just my opinion and does not necessarily reflect the view of the act or ITV/ Britain’s Got Talent. If you haven’t seen the acts below I’m sure you can find them on ITV’s website, or the app if you are in the UK, if not use that trusty search engine (looks a bit like the word goggle) to see if you can find videos of them.
Saturday night’s winning act was Jack Pack. This is a band I love. I love swing music, the big band feel and the simplicity of it just being a band and singing that you often can snap your fingers to. The lyrics also tend to be very good in swing music and am glad this band is putting swing music back on the map for a new generation.
The live finals acts I am most excited to see are:
Paddy and Nico (Amanda’s golden buzzer act)
Bars and Melody (Simon’s golden buzzer act)
For the wild card this year they chose the act of John Clegg. I love this decision. Why? Because it is variety show, so having John Clegg adds comedy to the mix for the final. He is also one of the acts I am most excited to see, so that is five acts I am looking out for.
Are you looking forward to the final? Which acts are you looking forward to? Do you agree with the judges choice for the wild card? Leave your comments below.
